Philippe was born in 1971, in Marseille. He moved to Sydney, Australia in 1991. In 1998 he relocated to Dublin, Ireland, where he graduated with a degree in photography from the Dunlaoghaire Institute of Arts. In 2004 he moved to London where he has completed a post graduate certificate in education (PGCE) in art & design, at the Institute of Education, London University. He now lives in South London with his Irish partner and his 'British' kids.
